This dynamic program is designed to support cardiac rehabilitation professionals preparing for the Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) exam through a flexible, in-depth virtual learning experience. The course includes nine on-demand modules led by expert AACVPR faculty and a live review study session focused on test preparation strategies and discussion with experts.

During the workshop, participants will learn about requirements for each page of the application and will review common application issues and errors.

This session introduces the Cardiac Rehab Change Package and highlights key resources available through AACVPR, including those from the TAKEheart initiative. We will explore strategies for driving system-level change to elevate the role of cardiac rehabilitation, with a focus on administrative support, staffing models and compensation structures.

In this session, the presenter will discuss how masters athletes (individuals >35 years) increasingly undergo cardiovascular evaluation, raising important questions about risk stratification, imaging interpretation, and safe participation in sport. Clinicians and athletes often ask: Which findings represent physiologic adaptation versus disease? Which imaging or exercise test results signal higher risk? And how should current guideline recommendations be applied to competitive older athletes?

In this session, the presenter will provide an update on the key recommendations for secondary prevention as per the 2026 ACC/AHA/AACVPR Guideline on the Management of Dyslipidemia, and an overview of clinical studies and pharmacologic actions of novel lipid therapies.
