This course aims to provide the most up to date information on tobacco treatment efficacy and best practices, as well as how to implement them into a clinical setting. Main areas of focus include cessation pharmacotherapy, motivational interviewing strategies, e-cigarette use, and an overview of how to incorporate tobacco treatment into the cardiac and pulmonary rehab setting.

The course will provide an overview of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed by pulmonary rehab professionals to successfully complete the PR Medications Module portion of the Staff Competencies for Core Components.
