This presentation will review how Mount Carmel Health System's cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program utilizes their registered dietitian services effectively in helping both pulmonary patients and cardiac patients.
The objective of this presentation is to clarify to the listener key areas to engage the outpatient cardiac rehab patient with nutrition. Specifics will be given on how nutrition education is implemented within the Oklahoma Heart Hospital's intensive cardiac rehab and outpatient cardiac rehab program.
